Aboriginal Women’s Corroboree
Join Aboriginal women making a stand against domestic violence and sexual assault at the Aboriginal Women’s Corroboree at Alexandria Town Hall, 73 Garden St, Alexandria. There will be song and dance from Aboriginal women and children, an Elders tent, stalls, a free sausage sizzle and also speeches from various women.

Annual Asian Moon Festival
This annual event takes place at the Waterloo Neighbourhood Centre. All are welcome to come along to the celebration where food and refreshments are provided by our local Volunteers Mabel Chang and her team. Thanks to the City of Sydney , and Redfern Waterloo Authority for their financial support of these culturally important and much valued community events.

Elaine Pelot-Syron : Thinking Outside The Square: A Retrospective (1972-2010)
The exhibition title, Thinking Outside The Square typifies those in the images who often find themselves on the fringe of society. Over 200 black and white and colour carefully culled photographs, or perhaps they may even ‘visual transcripts’, are being exhibited in the collection at the opening within a church setting, providing the exhibition with a sense of the sacred and surreal.
