DESCRIPTION:The Tom Bass Sculpture Studio School and Community of St V
 incent’s Church Redfern are inviting public comment on a memorial to
  the shared work Fr Ted and Mum Shirl. The presentation with model and
  photographs will take place at the Block.\n \nThe sculpture is abstra
 ct in expression and presents the spirit of Mum Shirl and Ted Kennedy 
 through connecting hands. Their lives exemplified the best of the Aust
 ralian spirit.  They worked to establish a society where justice\, dig
 nity and freedom could be enjoyed by all citizens\, whether Aboriginal
  or settlers.
