DESCRIPTION:Redwater Community Markets are held 3rd Saturday of the mo
 nth at Redfern Park and held between 8am and 4pm. \nThese community ma
 rkets are sponsored by the City of Sydney as part of a local community
  action plan and are organised by the Housing Communities Program (HCP
 ) at the Factory Community Centre\, in partnership with Surry Hills Ne
 ighborhood Centre and others. All monies raised from the stallholder-f
 ees for the markets are injected back into supporting local environmen
 tal community projects such as the Waterloo Recycling Workshop.\n\nAs 
 the market is part of local community action on climate change\, the f
 ocus of the market (not exclusively) is on sustainable goods\, which a
 re handmade\, recycled\, or second hand\, and are environmental friend
 ly. This is to assist in the reduction of waste strategies of the City
  Council. However all goods sold must be of reasonably high quality.
