DESCRIPTION:The Redfern Waterloo Heritage Taskforce has been establish
 ed to identify opportunities for the active conservation\, interpretat
 ion and\, where appropriate\, the adaptive reuse of the heritage of th
 e Redfern Waterloo area\, in tandem with the revitalisation and renewa
 l of the area. A project based approach has been chosen in order to ac
 hieve a broad and comprehensive treatment of the area’s diverse heri
 tage values. The Taskforce is also seeking to establish a Sub-Committe
 e to specifically address matters relating to the heritage of the form
 er Eveleigh Railway Workshops.
