  was located in the basement of the high rise McKell Building in Redfe
 rn and serviced residents of the area. The channel first hit the airwa
 ves on 4 September 1987 and former cast and crew members will be reuni
 ting on the stations 25th anniversary to remember this ground breaking
  institution.
