DESCRIPTION:The  State  Government recently published a  “discussion
 ”  paper for changes to planning controls across NSW.   This will re
 place planning legislation that has long underpinned the State’s pla
 nning controls. If approved\, the changes  fast track economic develop
 ment across the inner city and are likely to  result in overdevelopmen
 t in your neighbourhood.  While reform is needed\, the changes have be
 en condemned as pro-developer and remove the wider public from the pro
 cess.  Notably\, even ICAC have raised concerns!
