 about Health Equity – what it is and why is it important. Fiona Haig
  is the Director of the Health Equity Research and Development Unit (H
 ERDU) – a joint initiative of Sydney Local Health District and the U
 NSW Medicine Faculty's Centre for Primary Health Care and Equity (CPHC
 E). Fiona has been involved in helping facilitate some of the early wo
 rk of the Waterloo Collaborative that brings together government and n
 on-government services to deliver improved outcomes for service users 
 and the community in Waterloo.
