You are invited to have your say about the City’s planned renewal of Charles Kernan Park. The project is in the early design phase and Council wants your input. Initial design ideas will be on display at the community meeting which you can discuss with City staff. Your suggestions and feedback will help us finalise the design.

Sydney Uni Campus Improvement Plan 2020 Information Session - Wed 12 March 5–7pm Mar 13, 2014 from 08:00 AM to 10:00 AM The University of Sydney Foyer of the Services Building (G12) 22 Codrington Street, Darlington,
Sydney Uni's plans for new buildings on its campus including a number on the Darlington Campus are in their Campus Improvement Plan 2014-2020. The proposal for approval in principle of these developments was initially on exhibition for a short period - until the end of February. The University has now said it will consult with the community until the end of March and the Department of Planning and Infrastructure will accept submissions for a short period after the end of February. Three additional Information sessions are being held by the University - this is one of them. Submissions with any concerns from members of the community should be raised with the Universiuty and also made in writing to the Department of Planning.

The City of Sydney is working with the Redfern Community Centre to establish a community garden in Hugo Reserve, Redfern. The proposed garden would be open to the public, and provide a valuable educational resource for the community, a place to grow herbs and vegetables, and socialise and relax.
