This year’s First Monthly Informal Gathering 29 January 2010 at 1 pm. As usual, on the last Friday of the month, we invite agencies and community groups reps and volunteers to come together for an informal lunch time ‘get together. we meet at the Norfolk Hotel – Cleveland Street (Beer Garden). It is a great chance to take time out of our busy schedules and catch up with each other, sharing news, and information informally. You buy your own refreshments and lunch and can stay a short or as long as time will allow you.

This is a round table workshop to look at connectivity around Redfern Station and North Eveleigh. REDWatch has prepared a paper setting out some of the identified issues for discussion. This workshop will also look at proposals drawn up for REDWatch to address some of these connectivity issues including a possible bridge from Carriageworks to South Eveleigh. We have invited key stakeholders to help us explore what is needed.

The Tom Bass Sculpture Studio School and Community of St Vincent’s Church Redfern are inviting public comment for a Memorial Sculpture to honour the work of Mum Shirl and Father Ted Kennedy at a Public Meeting. This meeting is to seek wider community‐consultation with the Redfern community and to display the maquette (model) and photographs of how the full‐scale memorial sculpture will look on the footpath (in Regent Street).
