- The Department of Planning has released the Metropolitian Plan’s Draft Sydney City Subregional Strategy. The Sydney City subregion is based on the boundaries of the City of Sydney local government area. This subregion occupies a central and strategic part of the Greater Metropolitan Region. - Planning Minister Frank Sartor has announced the appointment of Mr Robert Domm as the new CEO of the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority (commencing July 21), which has responsibility for managing The Rocks and Darling Harbour along with other key waterfront sites such as the new Ballast Point Park. In the short to medium term Mr Domm will retain his job at the RWA to see through a number of major projects.
