DRAFT BLUEPRINT FOR NORTH EVELEIGH RELEASED
Minister for Planning and Redfern-Waterloo Frank Sartor today previewed draft plans that will help deliver an upgrade to Redfern Station and new affordable housing to the area reports this media release from Minister for Redfern Waterloo, Planning and the Arts Frank Sartor.

Sydney University plans to expand
The University of Sydney may well be the best and biggest in town, although it should be known that it has plans to grow even bigger. Council elections will be held in September and the Greens are first to preselect candidates (Labor will announce candidates following its State Conference in early May). Rachel Forster site sold to highest bidder
The former Rachel Forster Hospital at Redfern has been sold at the end of last year, following Planning Minister Frank Sartor’s approval of a concept plan for the $70 million residential redevelopment reports Candice Chung in the South Sydney Herald of February 2008.
REDWatch Submission - NSW Overcoming Indigenous Disadvantage Inquiry
This is the text of the REDWatch Submission to the NSW Legislative Council’s Standing Committee on Social Issues Inquiry into Closing the Gap – Overcoming Indigenous Disadvantage made on 31st January 2008. This submission requests the Inquiry under its terms of reference to Inquire into the implementation of its earlier recommendations from its 2004 Inquiry into Redfern and Waterloo which the NSW Government said had been taken into account in their decisions to establish the Redfern Waterloo Authority and other decisions.
