We have just been informed un-expectantly that despite previous advice that Ross’s remains would not be released till Feb 2018 that in fact someone has organised his cremation for next week. The details advised to us are below in an email from Mike Shreenan at the Factory.

Solander Project Completion celebration
19 young people, with a strong interest in landscaping and horticulture work, will graduate from a hands-on course, which took place in Waterloo and involved the refurbishment of a large garden, and paved recreation area at one of the local high rise buildings - Daniel Solander on Pitt Street. The students will graduate with a TAFE-accreditation in landscaping competencies in Certificate 1 Access to Work and Educational Opportunities.

Yabun – A Celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Cultures
Yabun will be a celebration of full Aboriginal and Torres Strait art, dance, music, heritage and literature. The event is being emcee-ed by Sean Choolburra and Lillian Crombie and will feature, along with many other acts, Bunna Lawrie, Zennith, The Last Kenection and the Black Turtles Yabun will run from 10am-6pm on Tuesday 26th January in Victoria Park, Cnr Broadway and City Rd. Yabun is a drug and alcohol free event.
