Australia is the only liberal democracy in the world without a charter or bill of rights. The Federal Government is considering possible new human rights laws. They want to hear from you.
To give everyone a chance to participate in this, Redfern Legal Centre is hosting a community event. Your ideas and comments will be sent to the National Human Rights Consultation. There will be a panel of speakers starting the human rights discussion on the evening.
Please RSVP by Friday, 1 May 2009. Refreshments will be provided
