REDWatch Monthly Meeting - Housing NSW - Planning Mixed Development in Redfern Waterloo

At this months meeting we will be joined by Housing NSW for an update on their proposal for the Master Planning for the redevelopment of Redfern and Waterloo public housing. This will be followed by a discussion of what issues have been encountered in other mixed housing developments and what will need to be done to avoid such problkems here.

Waterloo Neighbour Advisory Board Action Group Bi-annual Review - The Gathering Event 2

For the last two years, the Waterloo NAB has being piloting a new framework of engagement; this was achieved through the establishment of four thematic Action Groups.
The time has come to review the progress of this new framework and celebrate the successes, and look at the lessons learnt and plan together for the framework which will take us through the next two years.
So we invite all Residents and Agencies to come along and hear the reports of the action groups and help us to set the vision for the coming two years.

This month we were aiming to have a focus on services and have a presentation from the Redfern & Inner City Home Support Service. However with the anouncement of the RWA being wound into the new City wide Sydney Metropolitan Development Authority RWA CEO Roy Wakelin-King will also attend and explain the annoucement.
Come along to the monthly REDWatch meeting and meet others who live and work in the area and to discuss local issues and how we should engauge with Government.
