The Factory Community Centre, through its auspiced Housing NSW HCP programme is turning up the heat for the communities’ Third Annual Volunteers’ Awards Event. Since the scheme started, over 140 awards have been distributed. The time has come to find volunteers and community grass root groups who have contributed to their community over 2008 and 2009.

Each volunteer nominated will receive a certificate and be invited to a celebration lunch Appreciation Ceremony during National Volunteer Week, which is 11th-17th May 2009.
