Carmel Tebbutt letter to residents reads:
Since my election as the Member for Marrickville, I have been meeting as many local residents as possible and hearing their concerns.
Some of the Government's achievements include:
- Funding allocated for the Easy Access upgrade of Newtown Station.
- $1.53 million worth of upgrades and maintenance for local schools.
- Reduced class sizes in the early years in primary schools.
- Establishment of the Climate Change Fund to provide household rebates for rainwater tanks, hot water systems and home insulation.
- Over $4 million for the Cooks River catchment to improve river health and water quality.
- Upgrading Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and increased health funding.
I have been working hard to get results for the people of Marrickville but there is always more to be done.
I will be available on Tuesday 12 August 2008 at Darlington Public School (school hall), Golden Grove St, Darlington between 5.45pm and 6.45pm to respond to any State issues you may wish to raise with me.
However, if you are unable to make it on the 12th but would still like to discuss a State Government matter with me, please do not hesitate to contact my electorate office on 9558 9000.
Yours sincerely,
Carmel Tebbutt
