HNSW 'Places and Spaces for People Bus Tour - 8 December Morning

Dear All,

Our ‘Places and Spaces for People’ bus trips to places like Victoria Park and Pyrmont have been very popular, with over 140 people coming along so far.

We want to show you new housing developments and help you better understand how planning and urban design works, so you can have a strong voice in planning for renewal and redevelopment in Redfern and Waterloo in the future.

So please come along to our next bus trip on Wednesday 8^th December. This is a short trip (morning only!) to look at great new developments by Housing NSW at Lilyfield and by City West in Zetland. There is also a chance to see the Redfern East complex at the end of the tour if you missed our popular Green Tour last time.

The theme of this tour is quality social housing being delivered in the Inner City areas.

Meet outside The Factory Community Centre (67 Raglan St, Waterloo) at 8.45am on Wednesday 8 December (bus leaves at 9am sharp).  We go out to Zetland and then across to Lilyfield, then return to Redfern for people who want to see the new Housing NSW Redfern East development (we have a display town house for you to look at). If you have already seen Redfern East, we will drop you back at the Factory no later than 12.30pm.

We know it is getting close to Xmas and lots of people are busy. But we have an opportunity to showcase these developments before they are fully tenanted, so we wanted to give you the chance to see them. If you can’t make it, we will see you at future bus trips next year.
