Right to Information Roadshow - Two City Sessions - 22 March 2011

On the 1st July 2010, the new Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act) replaced the Freedom of Information Act 1989 (NSW), bringing about the biggest change to rights to government information in New South Wales in 20 years. These reforms will ensure our government is more transparent and accountable. Under the new law, state and local government agencies will proactively release more information than ever before to the public.
