Speaker: Professor Jim Ife from Social Work at the School of Social Sciences and Psychology Western Sydney University. Jim has been involved in community work in Australia for many years, and has written a book on community development which has been widely used in Australia and overseas. Previously held similar positions at The University of Western Australia and at Curtin University. He was also Head of the Centre for Human Rights Education at Curtin.

The event will also include a meal. For catering purposes we are asking all attending to RSVP by Eventbrite . If you have any problems then email mail@redwatch.org.au or talk to mike at The Factory. This is a free event but a donation towards the cost of the meal would be appreciated.

REDWatch is hosting this event with Counterpoint Community Services during Neighborhood Centre Week 2019 alongside a range of events to mark Neighborhood Centre Week and the the 40th Birthday of the factory Community Centre.
