Meet Leeanne – a recently widowed mum in her 40s struggling to keep her family together, working full time and paying off rising debts. Meet her 17 year-old daughter Toni doing her HSC who has ambitions and dreams. And meet Toni’s boyfriend Jason, an apprentice mechanic who wants to move in, wants to have everything now and spends his wages on getting all the latest things on credit.
