RWA CEO to Update REDWatch Meeting - 5 November 2009

In March 2009 The Minister for Redfern Waterloo Kristina Keneally and the new RWA CEO attended a REDWatch meeting with promises of changes in the way that the RWA related to the Community and addressed the areas issues. As 2009 draws to a close what has really changed?

Redfern Waterloo – A Progress Report from the RWA

REDWatch invites you to its monthly meeting to hear:

Roy Wakelin-King

Redfern Waterloo Authority (RWA) CEO

Is the RWA listening to and working with the communities more? Are Human Services Shortcomings being addressed? Where is the consultation on Public Housing and BEP2? Can the RWA deliver an upgrade of Redfern Station that links the area together or is the station in the too hard basket? When will a decision be made about the Sale of North Eveleigh? Where is the Heritage and Tourism Taskforce and what protection will there be for heritage in the ATP Sale?

Hopefully these and many other questions will be answered.

6PM THURSDAY 5th NOVEMBER 2009

Factory Community Centre,

67 Raglan Street Waterloo
