USyd Exhibition of CIP Responses - Until 25 August 2014

The University of Sydney has submitted a Response to Submissions (RtS) report for the University of Sydney's Campus Improvement Program State significant development (SSD) application. This report responds to issues raised in Submissions. This report is open to community comment until August 2014. THis ensures the community has a comment on the University's response in leiu of them not undertaking the consultation requested by the Department in the preperation of the CIP. Below are the details of the exhibition.

Subject: Exhibition of Response to Submissions for the University of Sydney Campus Improvement Program State Significant Development (SSD 6123)

The University of Sydney has submitted a Response to Submissions (RtS) report for the University of Sydney's Campus Improvement Program State significant development (SSD) application.

The Minister for Planning is the consent authority for this development. The development is not an integrated development or a designated development.

The RtS and accompanying documents may be viewed on the department's website ( http://majorprojects.planning.nsw.gov.au/index.pl?action=view_job&job_id=6123 ) and may be inspected from Thursday 10 July 2014 until Monday 25 August 2014 during regular business hours at:

  • Department of Planning & Environment: Information Centre, 23-33 Bridge Street, Sydney; and
  • City of Sydney Council: One Stop Shop, Level 2, Town Hall House, 456 Kent Street, Sydney.

Any person may make written submissions to the A/Secretary concerning the RtS for the SSD application during the period specified above. Submissions on the RtS must reach the department by close of business on Monday 25 August 2014. If you wish to make a submission please read the submission section below.

Response to Submissions for the Campus Improvement Program proposal, involving:

  • staged concept proposal that sets out a seven year program for the delivery of new development, access, public domain and infrastructure works across the University's Camperdown and Darlington Campuses; and
  • precinct based building envelopes and built form design controls, open space, transport linkages and indicative land uses for each precinct.

Your submission must reach the department by Monday 25 August 2014. Before making your submission, please read our Privacy Statement at www.planning.nsw.gov.au/privacy or for a copy ring the number below.

The department will publish your submission on its website in accordance with the privacy statement.

  • your name and address, at the top of the letter only;
  • the name of the application and the application number;
  • a statement on whether you support or object to the proposal;
