The Redfern & Inner City Home Support Service

R.I.C.H.S.S is a community agency whose role is to provide assistance such as social support, home visiting etc reports Redwater News of December 2007.

This can include escorting to small shopping, appointments, and social outings.

The aim is to assist people to remain in their homes and live independently in the community if they so wish.

The service covers the areas of South Sydney and the City of Sydney L.G.A’s.

If you can spare some time, would like to get involved with your community while increasing your skills, please contact Miranda at The Redfern & Inner City Home Support Service, 9 Ogden Lane, Redfern, Tel: 9319 3587

Volunteers will see people who are:

  • Older or frail aged persons
  • People with mild disabilities
  • People with other support needs
  • Carers & Family

Training and on-going support will be provided.
