Lucky Dip Kids Workshops - Saturdays at CarriageWorks

LUCKY DIP WORKSHOPS is a new series of fun, creative workshops by CARRIAGEWORKS, Sydney’s home for contemporary arts and culture. Each Saturday, the activity will be a surprise ‘lucky dip’ – a different arts-based workshop each week that kids 3+ and their parents can take part in for just $5 per person says this media release from CarriageWorks on 1 April 2009.

CarriageWorks has cooked up a range of workshops led by professional tutors where kids and their parents can get creative. The huge variety of bite-sized activities will include hula hooping, circus skills, dance, singing, drumming, visual art and much more.

You won’t know what the workshop is until you turn up on the day, and that is the beauty of the Lucky Dip! No need for pre-booking, just rock up and pay on the day. Workshop places will be limited to 30 per class, so first in, best dressed.

Coinciding with the new Eveleigh Farmers Market, Lucky Dip Workshops are a fun

out-of-the-box activity open to everyone - a great way for families to interact, learn new skills and kick creative juices into gear.

The Lucky Dip Workshops encourage Sydney families to make the most of their Saturday mornings, try something offbeat and maybe start a new hobby!
