Frasers Property affirms commitment to CUB site on Broadway [including RWA Contributions]
In response to reports appearing in today’s (17 April 2009) media in respect of the Frasers Broadway development (the old Carton United Brewery site), Frasers Property makes the following clarifications in its media release of 17 April 2009.
File Modified Affordable Housing Planning Agreement - RWA & Frasers Broadway
This is the agreement between the RWA and Frasers on Affordable Housing signed 28 November 2008. It provides for payment in 5 installments starting in June 2009. Each of the first four installments are for $6m with an adjusting installment dependendt of the final FSR. Green Loop sets high standard
The proposed Green Square Town Centre is at the heart of Australia’s largest urban renewal area – right between the CBD and our international airport (although the site is not excessively affected by aircraft noise. Several arterial roads intersect in the area, serviced by a number of cross regional bus routes and there is a modern subway station at that intersection. Darlington dudded, again
A large part of the formerly gracious Victorian suburb of Darlington was first dudded in the post WWII expansion of Sydney University. What next for North Eveleigh?
The Redfern-Waterloo Authority’s concept plan for the redevelopment of the presently deserted rail-yards at North Eveleigh has been given the tick of approval by the State Planning Minister Kristina Keneally. On January 30 Ms Keneally signed off on the plan with the hope that the 10.7-hectare site will be transformed from empty industrial shells into a new commercial precinct and 1,200 new homes with 12 per cent designated for affordable housing reports Nicholas McCallum in the South Sydney Herald of March 2009.
