Indigenous opportunity in Redfern
THE Minister for Community Services and Women, Linda Burney, has officially announced the membership of the Youth Advisory Committee for the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence reports Central 0n 7 October 2009.

The NCIE in Redfern aims to give young Indigenous people the opportunity to live their aspirations in the areas of sport, learning and innovation, arts and culture.
The Youth Advisory Committee is made up of 11 young people between the ages of 12 and 18 who live, work or go to school in the South Sydney area.
Committee members were chosen for their passion and enthusiasm for issues affecting young people and their desire to have their voices heard on a national scale.
