Local Public Toilets
by REDWatch, last updated: Jan 26, 2006 01:18 PM
With many people homeless and many people have incontinence problems it is important to be able to find a public toilet. For many people their trip depends on knowing where toilets are. Here we have provided a link to public toilets in the City of Sydney but you can use this site to find them around Australia. In Redfern Waterloo the map tells us they are at Railway Stations (for those with a ticket) and Shopping Centres in Broadway and Surry Hills. If you are in Waterloo where many aged people live the national database can not help you.

by REDWatch, last updated: Dec 08, 2005 10:39 AM
The plan for this redevelopment was announced in July 2002 as part of the DoH's decision to use privately funded redevelopment (see article in Redevelopment tab). In September 2003 the NSW Department of Housing wrote to residents formally informing them of what was planned in the development. The DoH could not get interest in the development as initially proposed and in May 2005 advised residents that they would try to gain interest by including the PCYC site in the development. Here we are collecting information about the Elizabeth Street development.
