The campaign is lobbying for lifts to be installed at Redfern station, as current access options are unsafe and unusable for many public transport users with mobility issues reports Charles Turnbull in the April 2012 edition of The South Sydney Herald.

Eveleigh Railway Workshops Interpretation Plan - Draft and Final Comparison
by REDWatch, last updated: Mar 27, 2012 10:02 PM
REDWatch has produced a document which compares the Draft Eveleigh Railway Workshops Interpretation Plan exhibited in April 2011 with the Final Report released in March 2012. No report setting out the issues raised in submissions was produced by the RWA / SMDA, nor was there anything that explained why some submission ideas were not accepted or what had changed. One area of concern to REDWatch is that there is no replacement body to deal with Heritage issues across the entire site. This document is provided so it is easy to see what has changed from the Draft. It shows both reports side by side with the deletions and additions shown in colour. It is electronically produced and is a guide only and to be certain of a change the two documents should be manually checked. This is a large document at 7MB PDF.

The 2010 Field Day Report captured some Eveleigh worker stories. File is 1.6MB PDF.

Preliminary Master Plan not to be made Public
by REDWatch, last updated: Mar 10, 2012 11:19 AM
Housing NSW have declined a REDWatch request that the Preliminary Masterplan be made public for community consultation before it is reported to the Federal Government by advising that "the preliminary masterplanning is an internal working document exploring options for Housing and Property Group’s major sites and is in a constant state of development". Housing NSW has also declined REDWatch's request to publicly release the HNSW Preliminary Masterplan progress reports to the Federal Government. Below you can see what REDWatch requested and why and how HNSW have responded. REDWatch wrote to HNSW when it became apparent HNSW had made no provision in their consultation to publicly exhibit their Preliminary Masterplan.
