Redfern Waterloo sits in the middle of a number of transport corridors for rail, road and bus. The problem for many is how to move to locally without having to go into the city and back out again. Here we provide some infomation on Local Transport.

Village to Village Bus link Time Table - Redfern to Glebe
- A bus service started in February 2007 that will link Redfern Waterloo with Glebe calling at RPA Hospital and Broadway Shops. The service is run by South Sydney Community Transport with support from the City of Sydney. The latest schedule is provided below. The service operates round trips on Thursdays and Fridays making the following stops: • Poets Corner, Morehead Street, Redfern • The Fact Tree Youth Centre • Wellington Street Waterloo • Matavai & Turanga, 3 Phillip Street Waterloo • Redfern Bank, Redfern Street Redfern • Redfern Station, Lawson Street • RPA Hospital, Missenden Road Camperdown • Joanna O’Dea building, Lyons Road • Glebe Library, Glebe Point Road • Broadway shops, Francis Street, Glebe. The September 2007 schedule is on the attached leaflet (458 Kb PDF). As of February 2008 this service will mesh with a new Village to Village bus link at Poet's Corner to Woolloomooloo via St Vincent's Hospital.

Village to Village Bus link Time Table - Redfern to Woolloomooloo
- A bus service started in February 2008 that will link Redfern Waterloo with Woolloomooloo via St Vincent's Hospital. The service is run by South Sydney Community Transport with support from the City of Sydney and links with the Redfern to Glebe Village to Village bus at Poets Corner. The service operates round trips on Thursdays and Fridays stopping at Surry Hills Shopping Village, Surry Hills ANZ Bank, Northcott flats, Central Railway pedestrian tunnel, The dental Hospital, Old Children's Court, Frog Hollow Park, National Arts School / Caritas, St Vincent's Public Hospital, Darlinghurst Road at Green Park, the medical centre and William Street, Kings Cross Station, The old Metro Cinema, Woolworth's Macleay St, St Neots Street, Brougham St and terminates at Mary Mcdonald Activity Centre Bourke Street Woolloomooloo.
