The shuttle to keep Redfern locals on the move

A hop, skip and a jump from the city centre and a mercifully short cab ride home from Newtown's pubs, Redfern couldn't be more convenient. Ask any local what irks them most about living in the area, though, and you may be surprised by the ensuing wails about a lack of transport. A new community bus link to move locals from the Redfern-Waterloo area to the Broadway shops is sure to be a popular initiative. The first shuttle will depart 10.30am on Friday.
