Service not Delivered - Letter

In this letter in the 21 January 2009 Central Ross Smith responds to an earlier Central article on Housing NSW "Sewer pipe fix delayed".

 

REGARDING the article, "Sewer pipe fix delayed" (Central, January 7), the Housing NSW spokesman needs to understand that having a contract does not automatically equate to the service being delivered. Central has seen where the "repairs" have not been done for many months. Others have been reminding Housing NSW that their contractors have not been delivering for years in some cases, especially in the cleaning, lawns, and garden areas. Housing NSW has a duty to obtain good value
