Experts will be on hand to hear your comments and answer your questions. your views are important to us. The site under discussion is bounded by Abercrombie St, Codrington St, Darlington Lane and Darlington School and has Department of Planning Director General's Requirements for development under Part 3A of the EPA.

This meeting will include a presentation from Fiona Haigh about Health Equity – what it is and why is it important. Fiona Haig is the Director of the Health Equity Research and Development Unit (HERDU) – a joint initiative of Sydney Local Health District and the UNSW Medicine Faculty's Centre for Primary Health Care and Equity (CPHCE). Fiona has been involved in helping facilitate some of the early work of the Waterloo Collaborative that brings together government and non-government services to deliver improved outcomes for service users and the community in Waterloo.

Networking Event – Jan Campbell from City of Sydney on the Redfern Business Study & Council’s Response Redfern Stadium Community Room Chalmers Street, RedfernThis is the new Council community room above the coffee shop on the northern end of the Redfern Oval stand The AGM will be part of one of our regular networking functions which starts at 5.30 on 23 September. The speaker at the meeting on the 23 September is Jan Campbell, the City of Sydney’s Business Precincts Manager. Jan will talk about the “Redfern Business Precinct Study” and Council’s actions with the Chamber to address the issues raised. Jan will speak at 6.30 immediately following the AGM.

On the 1st July 2010, the new Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act) replaced the Freedom of Information Act 1989 (NSW), bringing about the biggest change to rights to government information in New South Wales in 20 years. These reforms will ensure our government is more transparent and accountable. Under the new law, state and local government agencies will proactively release more information than ever before to the public.

As part of the exhibition the RWA has arranged seven information days at Redfern Town Hall. This is one of them.
