Street Drinking Taskforce Membership
As of May 2006 the Street Drinking Taskforce is made up of representatives from the following agencies:
- City of Sydney
- Wyanga Aboriginal Aged Care
- Redfern Police
- Department of Housing
- Redfern Chamber of Commerce
- Liquor Stores Association of. NSW
- Australian Hotels Association of NSW
- NSW Gaming and Racing
- NSW Health
- Aboriginal Medical Service
- Roads and Traffic Authority
- Indigenous Coordination Centre
- RWA
According to the January 2006 RWA Update:
"The RWA's aim is to reduce anti-social behaviour on local streets, improve public amenity and develop realistic programs to reduce the negative health impacts of alcohol. The Taskforce next meets in early February to identify actions for speedy implementation."
