Designing for thermal comfort at Waterloo South
This presentation was made by Homes NSW and Stockland at the REDWatch meeting focused on "Lessening Climate Change impacts in Social Housing". It deals with the approach to designing for thermal comfort taken by both Homes NSW and Stockland. It includes the announcement that Homes NSW will seek funding to include air-conditioning in the Waterloo South Social Housing - officially Homes NSW is currently reviewing funding opportunities to enable the installation of air conditioning units across the social housing buildings. While no final funding decision has been made at this stage, Homes are actively pursuing options and recognise the importance of resolving this issue as part of the project delivery.
